April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month

Raising awareness is a critical and foundational step in preventing child abuse. Child Abuse Prevention Month is our opportunity to build support for what we know must happen year round: supporting parents/caregivers and building relationships and connections in communities so that families can readily access what they need to help every child. Please join with our fellow Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Councils, Maine Families providers, and statewide partners to share awareness in April.
