Honoring Workers for Labor Day
This weekend service during the month of September is an opportunity to uplift the dignity of work, support low-wage and immigrant workers, and speak to the experience of essential workers in your community who have faced new challenges in their workplaces during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Too many of our community members lost their lives during this pandemic, too many workers have entered dangerous working conditions, and too many continue to face the same workplace injustices day after day.
Labor in the Pulpits is an opportunity to educate your community about what workers are facing and to reflect on why workers’ struggles matter to people of faith. You can participate in a number of ways.
