Medicaid Expansion for Maine is on the Ballot on Nov 7. We hope you will join us, invite others, and share this poster with your congregation and friends. A panel of Maine clergy who are also medical professionals will provide theological, Scriptural, and doctrinal perspectives from a variety of faith traditions on the importance of expanding Medicaid in Maine. Policy analyst Mitchell Stein will join the panel to provide facts and figures. The Maine Council of Churches, which supports passage of Question 2 on November’s ballot, is hosting this event. This will be a valuable opportunity to learn why faith leaders believe Medicaid expansion in Maine is crucial and to address some of your questions and concerns.
This event is free and pre registration is not required but preferred.
