Interfaith Prayer Service

This public prayer service, to be held outdoors on the plaza between the Cross Building and the State House, marks the beginning of the month in which our state will observe the one-year anniversary of the Lewiston mass shooting.

Denominational leaders representing ten faith traditions will offer prayers, litanies, readings and songs, and recite the names of those who were killed and injured.

Hosted by the Maine Conference of the United Church of Christ, the Maine Council of Churches, and Multifaith Justice Maine.
