CLICK FOR CLERGY APPRECIATION!
Did you know that October is Clergy Appreciation Month?
This October, the Maine Council of Churches is offering you the opportunity to show how much you appreciate your pastor, minister or priest this year—a year when our clergy have gone above and beyond to keep our congregations going through online and outdoor worship, adapting to “hybrid” services that offer members in-person and virtual options for gathering, and using creativity and imagination that allowed us all to BE the church even when we couldn’t GO TO church.
To express your appreciation for all they’ve done, CLICK FOR YOUR CLERGY and make a donation in their honor to the Maine Council of Churches. When you do, the person you honor will receive a special letter from our Board of Directors letting them know of the gift, and his or her name, along with the name of the church, will be featured in an article in the upcoming print edition of our fall newsletter (mailed to over 1,000 individuals and congregations across the state!).
Church Councils, Boards of Trustees, Vestries, Deacons, Sessions – wouldn’t this be a great way for your congregation to express its appreciation? Or maybe you’re a church member who is looking for a unique way to let your pastor know how much their ministry means to you?
CLICK HERE to make a tax deductible donation today and bring some unexpected joy to the heart of someone whose service to the church means so much to so many.
After filling out the form, you will be redirected to PayPal. If you prefer to send a check, please mail to Maine Council of Churches, 202 Woodford St., Portland, ME, 04103 with Click for Clergy in the notation.
