Candidates Pledge to be Civil

In preparation for this fall’s election season, the Council recently wrote to nearly 400 Maine candidates for the Maine Legislature and U.S. Congress, inviting them to sign our “Covenant for Civil Discourse.” Nearly half agreed to sign.  Their names are listed below.
