Chip Leighton is famous for his hilarious commentary on parenting and marriage, including funny texts and driving quotes from teenagers, and things he needs to apologize to his wife for. He’s also the author of the upcoming book, “What Time Is Noon? Hilarious Texts, Ridiculous Feedback, and Not-So-Subtle Advice from Teenagers.” Maybe you saw the: recent article in the Portland Press Herald about him. An active community member, Chip serves as Vice President of the Preble Street Board of Directors and is heavily involved in the community outreach of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church.
For one night only, Friday, May 10, Chip will be doing a benefit performance for the Maine Council of Churches. The house only seats 225 and tickets are selling fast–so get yours NOW!
Ticket holders will have the chance to submit their own examples of funny texts from teens (or parents) for possible use during an audience participation segment of the show!

Meet Chip
Chip Leighton is creator and host of The Leighton Show, a social media platform with more than a million followers. His comedy focuses on funny relationship and parenting moments. “Things I’ve Apologized to My Wife for” or “Texts from our College Freshman” are among his many relatable viral hits.
A Maine husband and dad, he’s been happily married for over 20 years and has two amazing kids.
