Lent Week 3
Jesus takes his place as king among people who are suffering. He invites us to follow his model and find ourselves not just abstractly for, but alongside, with and intrinsically connected to the marginalized. Activism, even in the name of Jesus, will almost always be paternalism if we aren’t in relationship with those we seek to join in getting free or getting what they need.
How can you take on this posture in the ways you show up as an activist?
