In 2017, white supremacists meticulously planned and carried out a violent attack on Charlottesville that resulted in dozens of injuries and the death of Heather Heyer. Nearly four years later, far-right extremists are even more emboldened by years of disinformation, conspiracies, and hate–made clear by the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, the shootings targeting the Asian American community in Georgia, and record level hate crimes and domestic terror. Integrity First for America is fighting back with its landmark Charlottesville lawsuit.

Integrity First for America, in partnership with a world-class legal team, is uniquely taking on individuals and hate groups at the center of this violent movement, holding them accountable in federal court for the violence they brought to Charlottesville in 2017.

As report after report underscores the urgency of combating white supremacy and violent extremism in America, IFA’s work is all the more critical.

We’re joined today by IFA Executive Director Amy Spitalnick and moderator Rep. Sam Zager who will discuss this landmark lawsuit and the fight against violent hate. We also have a few special guests from the Portland community joining us tonight: Secretary of State Shenna Bellows, Rev. Kenneth Lewis, City Councilor Pious Ali, and Jane Field.
